Obituary For Willie "Boot" Burton, Sr

Mr. Willie "Boot" Burton, Sr. 73, 1438 Belmont Road, Louisville, GA departed this life, Friday, September 25, 2020 at his residence.

Graveside Services will be held at Gordon Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Saturday October 3, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. with mask and social distancing.

Mr. Burton was a native of Jefferson County born to the late Willie Mae Davis. His loving cousin, Lillie B. Morgan proudly accepted the task of loving and rearing him. The love that he received was beyond priceless. At an early age he joined the Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church family where he remained faithful until his illness. He attended the Jefferson County school system. He was employed as a machine operator at Salter Farms.

He is preceded in death by his loving cousin Lillie, a son, Sammie Burton, siblings, Maggie Rivers and Buster Heggs.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Annie Jessie Morgan Burton, Louisville, GA; sons, Willie Burton, Jr, Louisville, GA and Jerry Burton, Tampa, FL; daughters, Regina Burton and Patricia Brantley, Louisville, GA, Lillie Burton, Elizabeth Burton, Annie Burton, Tampa, FL; brother, Edward Davis, Haines City, FL; sisters, Wanda (David) Crockett, Fonda (Felton) Brooks, Annie (Lloyd) Campbell, Haines City, FL, Mary Catherine (James) Carichers, Albion, N.Y.: Mother-in-law, Mattie Morgan, Louisville, GA; grandchildren, Samtatavious Burton, Kadarrius Burton, Johnathan Burton, Latisha Brantley, Josh Burton, Joshua James, Rhianna Burton, Jerry Burton, Jamarus Burton, Jamiesha Burton, Brenton Newton; Great grandchildren, Jamiah Burton, Jerry Burton, Jr. , E'Maunanna Gilmore; Sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Frances Morgan, Phillip Morgan, Don (Annie) Morgan, Earl (Judy) Morgan, Louisville, GA: Godchildren, Shawntress Lane and Vickie Davis a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
