Marvin Algin “Woody” Forney, Sr. age 71 Of Iron Station, North Carolina transitioned on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at his residence.

He was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on January 12, 1949 to the late Andrew Forney and Louise McElwain Forney.

Funeral Service will be Monday, October 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at El Shaddai Full Gospel Baptist Church with burial to follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a public viewing on Sunday at the Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Due to COVID 19 everyone is asked to wear masks.
