Brenda leaves to cherish her memories, her husband and best friend, Douglas Dean of Atlanta, Georgia; their children, Angela Dean (Melissa Gunn) of Columbia, South Carolina, and Tamela Daniels (Raphael) of Oswego, Illinois, Terribian Atkins of Atlanta, Georgia, Steven Dean, Jr. (Angela) of Conyers, Georgia, Timothy Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; her siblings Prince Martin, Jr. (Frances) of Atlanta, Georgia, Almedia Ector (Willie) of Atlanta, Georgia, Mary Phillips (Larry) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Herbert Martin, Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren: Antonio Glasby (Evan) of Los Angeles, California, Alnesha Davis of Atlanta, Georgia, Diamond Wiggins of Atlanta, Georgia, Jade Wiggins and Saniyah Daniels of Oswego, Illinois; Jasmine and Jade Gunn of Columbia, South Carolina; her great grandchildren: Antonio Glasby, Jr. Nila Menifee, Bailee and Brycen Walker, Javionne Dalcour-Zuber, Samuel Gurton, Yaramayah and Nachaamayah Glasby, and Brooklyn Smith. Brenda leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as her very best friend since Kindergarten, Joanne Harris of Atlanta, Georgia, and Dale Evans of Atlanta, Georgia. She has many other friends that she held near and dear to her heart.
A memorial service is being held on Saturday, October 3, 2020, 12:00p.m., at Ariel Bowen United Methodist Church, 384 Arthur St. SW, Atlanta, Georgia. A private grave-side committal will be held immediately after the memorial service at South View Cemetery, 1990 Jonesboro Rd, SE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30315. Services are being handled by Pollard and Moore Funeral Home, 827 Pollard Boulevard, S.W., Atlanta, Georgia 30315
