Jackie Murray “Monkey” Johnson, 65, husband of Venice Faison Johnson, died Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey, Sumter, SC. He was born August 19, 1955 in Manning, SC, a son of the late Jack Johnson and Dorothy Johnson.

Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 9, 2020 at Hayes F. Samuels Sr., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning, SC.

Burial will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Shirly Johnson, 8703 Paxville Hwy., Manning, SC.
