Mr. R.B. Roberts age 78 Of Lincolnton, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Atrium health-Lincolnton. He was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on March 16, 1942 the son of the late John Frank Roberts and C.T. Thomas Roberts.

A private funeral service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A public viewing will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Ebony & White’s Funeral Service from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., the body will lie in state on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the church until the time of the service. Masks are required for all services!!

He was a faithful member of Moore’s Chapel Baptist where he served as a Deacon and choir member. He graduated from Newbold High School, class of 1962 and retired from Vermont American.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Ann Tinsley Roberts of the home, a son, Barrance Todd Roberts, Sr. (Regina) of Shelby, NC, a daughter, Loquita Roberts of Woodbridge, VA, two sisters, Lucille R. Clemons of Maiden, NC, Shirley R. Coulter (Albert) of Newton, NC
