It is truly sad that a coward evil malicious person/s would take this talented brother's life. In such a cowardly way. I was happy to have him as a dance partner in Harry Bryce's African American Dance Theatre. He was truly talented and always spoke words of encouragement inspiring me to "Go For It! Love you TByrd.

To the Byrd family, I extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you all. Byrd has been apart of my family since my early childhood. We would go to Griffin, GA to visit his folks. We would pick large peaches and place them in the wooden barrels and bring some back to ATL. We attended many Alvin Ailey concerts, plays and ballet recitals. He had such a beautiful and amazing spirit. I will miss his text msgs with words of encouragement and full of inspirations. Love you all, from the Price, Wike and Kendrick Family.

T-Byrd and I were neighbors in Griffin, GA. He lived with his mother and grandmother on the corner about a hundred feet from us. We attended Heck Chapel on Sundays. I lost track of him over the years, but felt a since of pride whenever I heard about his career. I was shocked when I heard about his death on tv. My prayers and condolences to his family. Rev.
