Obituary For Sidney Earl Leverette

Sidney Earl Leverette was born August 30, 1936, in Stateline, Mississippi to the late Andrew Earl and Jennie V. Leverette. God called him home on Monday, October 5, 2020, to eternal rest.

His viewing will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Meridian Street Church of Christ, Moss Point, MS from 1-2:20 pm followed by a 3 pm graveside service at the Macphelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS.

Sidney was preceded in death by one son: James Earl Leverette, one grandson Curtis Chablis Walley, four brothers Andrew Leverette, Walter Leverette, Donnie Leverette, and Jimmy Leverette, two sisters Dester Moses, and Nancy Mabry.

His beautiful life will be cherished in the lives of his devoted wife, Gerry Dean Leverette, children Charles Mccorvey of California, Lula Briston of Jasper, Florida, Monsue (Curtis) Walley of Moss Point, MS, Lee Otties (Tonya) Leverette of Gautier, MS, Andrew Earl Leverette of Moss Point, MS, Gillette (Donna) Leverette of Moss Point, MS, Tracey Wyvette Stacy of Sachse, Texas, siblings William (Marie) Leverette of Pascagoula, MS, Mary (John) Ramey of Waynesboro, MS, Rgell Foster of Chicago, Illinois, Yvonne (Eugene) Harris of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, John (Diane) Leverette of Moss Point, MS, and Marilyn Hooks of Tuskegee, Alabama, sisters-in-law Ruth and Mary Leverette of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Geraldine Mason of Mobile, AL, grandchildren Kirbun Bristol, Bryson Bailey, Antisha Walley, Andre Stallwork, Kyrwin Briston, April Stallworth, Sidney L. Leverette, Lee O. Leverette, Jr., Dion Leverette, Tevyn Stacy, Kevyn Stacy, Jerrica Stacy, and a host of great grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a very special thanks to Mary Woods.
