As a child all we knew was our lives within our neighborhood. Having loving parents and neighbors who cared for each other. Everyone felt safe and at home no matter where we were on our block. Our neighborhood was that village that raised me, my sisters and brother and all the generations that grew up there. That is all we knew as kids. As product of that neighborhood that is what I remember most of of growing up. Mrs Bullock was one of those mother's that helped raise us all. My heart is saddened knowing she is no longer with us. To Nita & Linda and your families, you have our prayers, love and sympathies. Lean on your faith to give you strength in knowing she is with the Lord smiling down on us all. I will miss her but I will forever have the memories of her and all our mother's in our neighborhood. May God continue to bless you and give you the strength to get through your loss. John Jr.

Linda & Juanita, you have me deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. Your mom was like a 2nd Mom to many of us on 24th Street and her jovial spirit will be sorely missed. Leon Hobson
