Mr. Lewis Fletcher
Passed 09/26/2020
Mr. Lewis Fletcher Sr. was born February 27, 1943, in Barnesville, GA to the beloved union of the late Robert Fletcher Sr. and Bessie Lucille (Davis) Fletcher. He was a member of the East Mount Sinai Baptist Church. He was united in holy matrimony to Minnie Lee (Phillips) Fletcher for 58 years. They had five children; one preceded him in death, Sylvia Ann Pye. He worked at Carter Company for many years; however, he had many skills. He loved music; the bass guitar was his choice as a young man while playing in many local bands. He could fix anything in a home; floors, roofing, wiring, electronics, and anything to do with a fishing rod because fishing and hunting were his true passion. The community knew if you want fish or rabbit, go see Big Lewis! He leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories, two sons, Lewis (Ta’Lena) Fletcher Jr, of Monterey, CA; Rodney Fletcher of Jonesboro, GA; two daughters, Rosylain Phillips and Tracy Fletcher, both of Barnesville, GA; 1 brother Oscar Fletcher of Cleveland, OH; 1 sister Portia (Cornelius) Lancaster of Columbus, GA; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers-in-laws, Clarence Williams and Charlie (Carol) Phillips, and a host of other relatives and friends
