Family is a word that bared Connie's name. She was family in so many ways to so many. Her caring and loving spirit resonated throughout her being along with Sonny. Giving was their passion. When my father transitioned from labor to reward, Connie and Sonny and Alan were at my doorstep the next day with all of the essentials that one would need in time of death. I can only smile when I think about the reunion that is going on in glory. To God be the Glory for the memories that I cherish from knowing such a genuine ,kind and spiritual person. Sending up prayers and hugs to the family. Cynthia, Christina and Christopher Dunlap

The faculty and staff of A. V. Norrell Elementary extend our deepest sympathy to the family of our colleague, Connie Glass. Throughout my tenure at Norrell I observed and admired the qualities of this outstanding educator. Mrs. Glass' priorities were reflected in the time and energy she exhibited working unselfishly with students, families, colleagues, and the community. Her strong personality, beautiful smile, and openness helped our school family tackle numerous challenges. Her students always remembered Mrs. Glass! On behalf of all of us who knew and worked with this excellent teacher, we share in your loss. Mary P. Pierce A. V. Norrell Principal (Retired)

We are sending our condolences to the family of Sister Connie G. Glass. Our friendship spanned over 4o years. It saddens our hearts in realizing her presence will no longer be with us. She had a mission's heart , a "get-it-done" spirit, and she loved her church family. Sister Connie and her husband, Brother Sonny worked together as a phenomenal team in bringing the Kingdom to the Community. She leaves a legacy that will certainly be cherished and remembered in the life of our church. May you find comfort in treasured memories of her . May the Lord give you strength and comfort during this time of bereavement. We will continue to uplift the family in pray . Alfred & Mildred Thomas, Fifth Street Baptist Church
