My brother, mentor and friend! It was never anytime that I called him or he called me that we did not drop what we were doing to talk. We had long lunches, quiet dinners with Sarah and plotted out how he could push his kids on to success and how he could help me at the library. He told me once, I don't have much but what I do have I want to help the youths in this city. Although he had been told to send his daughter to ASU to get a library degree by someone, they chose to consult with me. I gave them a better option and from that David began his research. He said I'd always be his sister because I helped him redirect his daughters goal in life. David, you will forever be in my heart and I will forever be grateful for the friendship of the Ross family. RIP, my brother!

There is a HUGE hole left by Mr David Ross' demise. He was a man of stature and leadership, an icon in our city! The Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Family has always been such a caring, professional institution in the way they conducted their business; no stone was ever left unturned! That dedication, thoroughness, and professionalism was displayed with ALL the dealings our family has ever had with them. We attribute that directly to the knowledge and foresight of Mr Ross. His monumental presence will GREATLY be missed! May God continue to strengthen his wife (our mom's formal student), her children, & dedicated staff at Ross & clayton. Submitted with our deepest, most heartfelt sympathy --- The Lancaster Family (Lisa, Mark, Al, & Ann)
