My sincere condolences to the Lewis family. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find the Bible's message a source of comfort and hope. At John 11:11 death is compared to a peaceful sleep. There will come a time when Jesus will resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death (John 5:28-29). Just think, you have the prospect of seeing and holding your dear Ke' Loni again. I hope that these promises will give you comfort now and a real hope for your future. My prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time of sorrow.
