Graveside services for Ms. Fannie Mae Turman Harvey of Lineville, 72, will be 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020, at Lineville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2020.

Ms. Fannie Turman Harvey began her earthly life on May 6, 1948. She was born to the union of Luke Turman and Sarah Lee Nunn Turman in Clay County, Alabama.

Ms. Harvey was a very active member of the former Young Chapel United Methodist Church. She did anything that she could possibly do in order to serve the Lord when called upon. She was a graduate of Clay County Training School and was employed with Wellborn Cabinet Company until she made the sacrifice to end her professional career to care for her father. Fannie enjoyed reading scriptures in her Bible, decorating and spending time with her family.

On the evening of Thursday, October 15, 2020, the Lord called Fannie to begin her eternal life. She was reunited in eternity with her parents, Luke and Sarah Turman; a brother, Benjamin Turman; and a son, Gregory Dark.

Cherished memories will forever be in the hearts of her daughter, Sharon (Wayne) Caldwell of Oxford, Alabama; two sons, Travis Dark of Anniston, Alabama and Rodney Dark of Talladega, Alabama; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother, Jerry (Mammie) Turman of Lineville, Alabama; and a host of other relatives and friends.
