DeWitt Young

DeWitt Young, 90, entered into eternal rest on October 17, 2020. He was the son of the late Ben Harris Young, Sr. and Versie Young.

Mr. Young was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Chesnee, SC.

He was a Korean War Veteran.

Mr. Young was a retired auto worker. He managed The Red, White and Blue Cafe in Chesnee, SC for over thirty years.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his daughter, Deborah Twitty; his sisters, Fannie Burgess and Lola Linder; and a host of dear family members and friends.

A Celebration of the Life of DeWitt Young will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church Cemetery, 238 Richland St., Chesnee, SC. Rev. Ronnie Miller will officiate.
