Marine Farmer Horne, 88, of Richmond, departed this life October 20, 2020. Surviving are her children, Carolyn, Doris, Earnest Jr., and Eddie Horne, Sr.; a host of grandchildren, (Steven L. Horne and Vickie L. Horne, raised as her children); great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; sister, Mary McNair; brother, Jimmie Farmer; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, where viewing will be held Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.. Aunt Marine was definitely a woman of strength. She loved hard and with no nonsense. She was a sergeant at arms when needed. She did not hesitate when family needed her. She put you in your place and still loved you. She is a Rock and always will be for me. Love everlasting.
