Obituary For James Phillips

Mr. James Phillips, 72, of Mt. Olive, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his residence.

He is the son of the late Robert and Lonnie Mae Phillips. He attended RWLM Church in Chicago, Illinois and Point Pleasant Baptist Church.

Mr. Phillips was a retired Construction Technician. He loved listening to the blues, cooking, going to Casino, and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel at 11am. Interment will be in Point Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Olive, Mississippi.

He is survived by: wife, Geraldine Phillips of Calumet City, IL; daughter, Masasha Williams of Calumet City, IL; sisters, Emma Kitches of Mt. Olive, MS; Elois Wallace of Monrovia, CA; Lonnie Payne of Detroit, MI and Ruby Wright of Bellwood, IL; grandchildren: 11; great-grandchildren:2

Visitation will be Friday, October 23, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-8pm.
