Earnest McGhee, 84 of Memphis, Tennessee died on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Friday, January 24, 1936 in Moscow, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Mose McGhee and the late Colonial Brown McGhee. He was the husband of Maudreed Williamson McGhee. He was employed by Avis Rental Car. Surviving are sons, Carl McGhee (Katie) and Ronnie (Debra) McGhee, two brothers, Emmett McGhee and Billy McGhee (Angie), six grandchildren, Willie Holman, Tamika McGhee, Amber McGhee, Derrick McGhee, & Ronnie McGhee Jr., three great grandchildren, Tamia Marsh, Kayden Holman, Raiauna Holman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends to celebrate his home going.. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2020, at R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 2944 Walnut Grove, Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at St Stephen Baptist Church located at 4245 Singleton Parkway Memphis, Tennessee 38128. Interment will be immediately following service in Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
