Obituary For Walter "Pete" Johnson

Mr. Walter "Pete" Johnson, 63, of Prentiss, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Perry County General Hospital, Richton, Missississippi.

He is the son of the late Henry and Hazel Johnson and was a member of Green Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Johnson was a disabled construction laborer who enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He served in the U. S. Army.

Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Green Grove Baptist Church at 11am.

He is survived by: brothers, Larry Johnson, Richard Johnson, Greg Johnson and Terry Johnson all of Prentiss, MS; Charles Johnson of Oklahoma; Rufush Johnson of Florida; Henry Johnson, Jr. of Gulfport, MS; sisters, Marsha McInnis, Daisy Newsome and Veronica Moses all of Prentiss, MS; Brenda Hathorn of Biloxi, MS; Betty Sexton of Jackson, MS; Sharon Johnson of Maryland.

Visitation will be Monday, October 26, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-8pm.
