Obituary For Nellie Littlejohn

Mrs. Nellie Gray Littlejohn, 93, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 22, 2020. Mrs. Nellie Littlejohn was the daughter of the late Mamie Gray and P. Ferguson. She was the widow of John L. Littlejohn, Sr.

Mrs. Littlejohn was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. She was employed with Southern Wood Piedmont, ITT Division.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her two daughters, Mamie Lee Fowler of Spartanburg, SC and Ruth D. Pinkston of Atlanta, GA; her three sons, Milton Tyrone (Betty) Littlejohn of Montgomery, AL, John (Ruby) Littlejohn, Jr. and Jimmy (Mary) Littlejohn both of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Littlejohn was preceded in death by: her son, Gary Littlejohn.

A Celebration of the Life of Nellie Gray Littlejohn will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the chapel.

I took care of Nelly at Valley Falls Terrace years ago and she was in my program called the exit seeker. I remember the day that she came she was such a fighter had the most beautiful skin and I used to take care of her hair. I remember when my son Michael used to come up there and she saw him and she would just smile like she was flirting with him and she always pop me on my bottom as I walk bye. She will be truly missed, a great woman And she was a fighter till the end. May God bless you and your family always Sheila Jackson
