Obituary For Willie B Hunt

The funeral services for the late Mr. Willie B. Hunt of Sylvester, Georgia, who departed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Pruitt Healthcare in Sylvester, Georgia, will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery in Sylvester, Georgia. Words of Comfort will be given by Pastor Nick Hillery. Services may be viewed Facebook live on the "Shipps Funeral Home" Facebook page.

Mr. Willie B. Hunt was born on July 15, 1967, in Tifton, Georgia, to Mr. Arthur Lee Jackson and the late Mrs. Ethel Lee Richardson.

Willie was educated in the Worth County Public School System, and graduated from Worth County High School in Sylvester, Georgia.

Willie gave his life to Christ at an early age, and joined and was baptized at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia.

Willie was a mechanic who worked on cars which he loved to do. He was an outgoing person with an infectious smile, sense of humor, was loved by his family and many friends.

Willie departed this life peacefully on October 28, 2020 at Pruitt Nursing Home in Sylvester Georgia. He was preceded in death by his son, Le’Quan Spradley, his mother, Ethel Richardson, one brother, Melvin Coleman. He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Arthur Lee (Annette) Jackson of Tifton Georgia; .three sisters, Mrs. Estella (Stephen) Reese of Sylvester Georgia, Ms. Evonna Holley of Tifton, Georgia, Ms. Niya Brown of Albany Georgia; six brothers, David Richardson, Michael Richardson, both of Sylvester, Georgia, Arthur Jackson Jr. of Atlanta Georgia, Christopher Marshall, Jonah Brinley, Reginald Pittman, all of Tifton, Georgia; a niece, Desirae Cook of Sylvester, Georgia; a nephew, Stephen Reese of Sylvester, Georgia; goddaughter, Brianna Spradley of Ocilla, Georgia; an aunt, Mrs. Estella (Willie) Walker of Tifton, Georgia; three uncles, Wonder Richardson, Bennie Wheeler, both of Tifton, Georgia, Roosevelt Hunt of Florida; two dedicated friends, Michael Hawkins, Dorothy Goodman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
