Howard Andrew Burns passed away October 26, 2020 at his residence in Franklin, Tennessee, at the age of 80. He was born in Williamson County, Tennessee, to the parents of Elizabeth Bessie and Luke Burns.

Those left behind to cherish his many memories, his wife, Claudia Burns; son, Howard Andrew (Katrina) Burns; daughters, Lesa (Larry) Oshomoji, Tena (Micheal) Lewis and Denise Burns; grandchildren, Myesha Kinnard, Kelvin Burns, Cory Burns, Daphne German, Xavier Lee, Kyron Burns, Oluwatoyin Oshomoji, Jasmyn Jones, Titilayo Oshomoji, Kaia Burns, Alonzo Collins, Jr. and Kallon Burns; great grandchildren, Camiyah Burns, Paris Lee, Jazarion Baugh, Jaziyah Baugh, Trenton Vanlier, Noah Burns, Trey Vanlier and Ja`Nylah Baugh; sisters, Mary (Eugene) Leach, Norma Cannon, Rose (LeRoy) Nevils, Bernice (George) Sanford and Betty Gordon; brothers, William (Beatrice) Burns, Stanley Burns and Michael Burns; sisters-in-law, Pearllee (Joe) Richardson, Annette Campbell and Dorothy Burns; brothers-in-law, Larry (Vanessa) Campbell, Eugene Campbell, Robert (Willie Ann) Campbell; aunts, Magdalene Elliot and Lou Willie Hickerson; uncle, Staton Scruggs; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In order to enter the funeral home for viewing you MUST have on a mask per new regulation for the funeral home. You are responsible for supplying your own masks as well ***

Mr. Burns will lie in state from 2 until 5 on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family, Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 11 until 12 at West Harpeth Primitive Baptist Church 4141 Columbia Highway, Franklin, TN, with funeral to follow. Interment Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
