~OBITUARY~

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing" II Timothy 4" 7-8

Ellie Mae Mitchell was born in Allendale County, South Carolina, March 3, 1967 to the late Betty Washington and the late John Henry Mitchell. Ellie attended the public schools of Allendale County. At an early age, she became a baptized member of St. Luke Baptist Church.

She loved her family and friends dearly. Ellie had a smile that brighten any room. She kept her circle small, but she was willing to help anyone.

For many years Ellie dedicated her life to the love of her life, Willie Badger.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by (2) sons: Albert Badger III, and Dennis Mitchell, (2) aunts: Roleatha Loadholt, and Reatha Mae Mitchell Johnson; (1) sister: Linda Miller, (1) uncle: Deacon Charlie Jenkins;

On Thursday, October 28, 2020, she transitioned from earth to glory at the Allendale County Hospital, Fairfax, South Carolina.

Mourning her loss yet rejoicing her life are: her loving and devoted companion of 26 years, Willie Badger, of the home; (1) Daughter: Lakeshia Mitchell; Fairfax, SC; (3) Sons: Lakedrick Mitchell, Tyrone (Tina) Badger; all of Fairfax, SC; Albert (Ronnie) Badger II; Fayette, GA; (4) Sisters: Ruth Ann Jenkins, Annie Junior both of New Jersey; Patricia Junior; Fairfax, SC; and Celena Junior; Allendale, SC; (1) Brother: John Junior; SC; (3) Sisters-In-Law: Eva Mae Elmore; Allendale, SC; Willette Pryor, and Shirley Badger both of Fairfax, SC; (4) Brothers-In-law: Mack (Betty) Badger, Johnny Badger, Willie J. Badger and Arthur (Beulah) Elmore, all of Fairfax, South Carolina: Loving neighbor, Monica of Fairfax, SC. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
