Obituary For Mrs. Katharina Hudson

In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Katharina Hudson. Celebration of Life will be Thursday, November 5, 2020 1:00 pm at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel. Interment will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 10:00 am at Georgia National Cemetery. Katharina Hudson was born on January 15, 1935 to Georg and Fridericke Brobeil in Germany. She was educated in the German School System. Katharina met and married the love of her life, Homer W. Hudson in 1967 and this union lasted 53 years and included operating many business ventures together which enabled them to assist family and friends. Katharina family and friends knew she was the life of the party, love to have fun and had a great sense of humor. She was a loving friend who will be truly missed. On October 28, 2020, Katharina peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home, after a period of illness. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Frieda, Maria and Anna. She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband of 53 years, Homer W. Hudson; one son, Eddie Lovett (Bettie); one daughter, Frieda Brown; one stepdaughter, La Tonya Hudson; two brothers, Adolf and Hans; eight grandchildren, Jason, Clarethia, Towanna, Clifton, Max, Johnathan, James and Caden; three sisters-in-laws, Hattie Emmons, Lumpkin GA, Mattie Tyiska, Chicago, IL, and Betty Hopkin (Morris), Albany, GA; one brother-in-law, Clinton Hudson, Robbins, IL.; two Godchildren’s, Lazarick and Kendra; two special young people, Lydia and Henry Allen who were like family to her since 1998; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
