The funeral services for the late Mrs. Catherine Harvey Smith of 118 S. Jefferson Street, Ashburn, Georgia, who departed this life on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at her residence, will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia. Mrs. Catherine Harvey Smith was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Willie Eva Johnson Harvey on August 15, 1948 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Catherine resided in Florida for most of her life and was transitioning back to Georgia. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Catherine was loved by family and friends, but God the Almighty loved her best. On Saturday morning, October 31, 2020, Mrs. Catherine Smith was called to the heavenly afterlife at her home in Ashburn, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, and a daughter, Cassandra Smith.

Catherine leaves to cherish her memories five children, Arlene Miller of Warner Robins, Georgia, MackConeyo B. Smith (Linda) of Tifton, Georgia, Frederick A. Smith (Cynthia), Nicholas Smith (Angie), Nickie Smith, all of Ashburn, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; two devoted sisters, Mary Ann Harvey of Ashburn, Georgia, Edna Mae Barnes of Cleveland, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
