Obituary For Mr. Barry Mims
Mr. Barry Mims, age 61, of Rome, Ga. transitioned October 29, 2020. Service for Mr. Mims will be Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1 pm at Christ Temple RPC in Rome. The body will lie instate from 12 noon until the funeral our. Interment will follow the service at Morning View Cemetery (Hwy 53).
Please keep the family in your prayers.
Public viewing will be Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 10 am until 6 pm at the Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at Christ Temple RPC.

I met and worked with barry around 1988. He and his brother preston. He was so kind, worked so hard. Later i worked at home depot, and had the pleasure of seeing him daily as he could fix anything. So sorry to hear this sad news. I retired the first of October. R I P Barry, GODSPEED

Barry have been a great and true friend too my husband. Wouldn't have been a time my husband would call him he wouldn't be there. So humble and a Godly man. May God bless his family and keep them strong!!!

19 yrs Barry was my Brother in law. I am married to his Brother , Preston Mims. Barry was the epitude of a hard working man for his Wife and Children. He was a great provider for them. God fearing Man of God. He loved telling everyone about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He will be truly missed. Love Theresa Phelps Mims Rome GA.
