In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mr. John (Jr) Hood, Jr. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper….Isaiah 54:17” Mr. John Edward Hood, Jr. was born on October 20, 1998 to Kenisha Mitchell and John Edward Hood, Sr. at South Fulton Hospital. He went to Easter Seal Academy, Hertiage Academy and Forest Hill Academy. John attended The Ministry of New Life were he played the drums. He was employed at Willey in Hapeville and Burger King on North Avenue. He is preceded in death by his sister Javearia D. Watkins. “Jr” leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Za’Maria Hood Hooten; mother, Kenisha R. Mitchell; father, John E. Hood, Sr; grandmothers, Ms. Reginia Glover and Mrs. Mary Hood; devoted grandfather, Byron Edwards; maternal sibliings, Ja’Kiarra Mitchell and Ja’Khai Mitchell; paternal sibling, ten sisters and four brothers; five aunts; nine uncles; special love, mother of his child, Raylithia Hooten; devoted step-mom, Doris (Moonie) and a host of cousins, friends and other relatives.
