Donald M. Higgins,75, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 1, 2020. He was the son of Levi Higgins and Larry Montgomery. Mr. Higgins was the loving husband of the late Rosetta Higgins. Mr. Higgins was a member of Destiny Fellowship. He retired from Michelin Tire and Spartanburg Medical Center. Donald was a founding member of the Gospel Aires. Mr. Higgins was an avid singer and loved his gospel. He never met a stranger and everywhere he went someone knew him. Donald loved to have his friends and family members around for holidays and BBQ. Mr. Higgins was full of life and was always laughing. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his sons, Jesse D. (Susan) Higgins of Roebuck, SC and Rodney L. (Randi) Higgins of Duncan, SC; his grandchildren, Brandon and Jahlea Higgins both of the home, Ryan and Tevin Higgins both of Boiling Springs, SC and Caleb Higgins of Sumter, SC; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Donald was preceded in death by: his brother, Bobby Higgins, Joe Cecil Higgins and John Henry Higgins; and his sisters, Lydia Mae Higgins and Rosella Glenn. A Celebration of the Life of Donald Higgins will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC.
