Obituary For Inez Patterson

On Wednesday, January 14, 1925 in Kosciusko, Mississippi, God blessed Mr. Willis and Mrs. Idella Jamison with a beautiful baby girl; they named her Inez. She met and married Mr. Robert Lawrence Patterson and like many migrated North and settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After retiring, like many, they came back home and settled in Jackson. Robert and Inez were married for 48 years and the parents to four children. Robert and Inez both got their stat in Christ at Center Church of God in Kosciusko, MS. While in Milwaukee, they worshipped at the Northside Church of God and upon returning to Mississippi, they worshipped with the Central Community Church of God in Jackson, MS. On Sunday, November 1, 2020 God saw that Inez had suffered long enough and sent His angels to escort her back to Heaven. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Raymond (Linda) Patterson of Jackson, MS and Patrick Patterson of Chicago, Illinois. She leaves behind two daughters: Bernez (*Joseph) Nichols of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Robin (Ronald) Shines of Chicago, Illinois; a host of grand and great grandchildren, uncles and aunts, cousins and friends.

Her husband, Robert L. Patterson and son-in-law, Joseph Nichols preceded her in death.
