Obituary For Marshall Chambers, Sr.

Mr. Marshall Henry Chambers, Sr.; fondly known as “Bub,” was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and departed this life on Thursday; November 3, 2020 at home. He was the son of the late Marshall and Lucy Chambers.

He attended Gaston County Schools in North Carolina.

He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was a carpenter by trade and worked other various jobs helping to build his community in Gaston County.

Besides his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife: Willie Mae Chambers; sons: Richard and Marshall “Boogie” and daughter: Cathy.

He leaves to cherish precious memories to his two daughters: Doris Ann Pratt and Angela McKinney; two sons: Marshall Lewis Chambers, Jr. and Jacob McKinney; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Monday; November 9, 2020; 2:00 p.m. at Gregory Funeral Service Chapel, Gastonia

Visitation: one hour before the service at the chapel

Interment: Oakland Cemetery, Gastonia

Masks are required at all services and will be live on Gregory Funeral Service facebook page beginning at 2:00 p.m.
