Obituary For Alonza Brown

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an after-glow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

Mr. Alonza Brown, of Warrenton, North departed this life on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, November 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend Cora Boyd will officiate and deliver the eulogy.

Alonza was united in marriage to Carletta Simes and to this union one son was born, Alonza Brown, Jr. Later, he was later united in marriage to Sakeenah Scott. Seven children joined this union; Gianna, Jordyn, Jada, Jadyn, Ayden, Avery, and Ace; one brother, Rendell Brown (Alicia); one sister, Angula Williams; aunts and uncles, Samuel Brown (ClayT), Hellen Stallings, George H. Brown, Jr. (Shirley); one great aunt, Fannie Brown; one niece, Kyren Elam; four nephews Rendell Brown, Jr., Caleb Southerland, Anthony Williams, and Amber Williams; one devoted friend, Barlett Perry; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The body will be on view one hour before start of the service.

Alonza,,........what a heart breaking time.I watched him grow with my children, he always had that smile and respect. God chose him to be a part of his glory and as hard as it is to accept we must keep on trusting and believing that his world now is far better than ours.
