Obituary For Shelley Foster

Shelley Ann Foster was born November 7, 1950 in Tallahassee, Alabama to the late Classie L. Winrow.

She transitioned from this earthly existence to her heavenly home on November 7, 2020, surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Shelley was a member of Mt. Zion Restoration Church in Gastonia, North Carolina. She loved reading, helping people and praising the Lord.

Shelley was loved dearly, and will truly be missed by; her husband: Sherman Thomas (Dallas, NC), her daughter: Sonjia Ann Baker Lee and son-in-law: Franklin Delnor Lee (Gastonia, NC), her son: Fredrick Steven Brown (Cary, NC) and her daughter: Elena Paige Brown (Charlotte, NC); (2) grandchildren, Jamal J. Lee and Jordan J. Lee (Gastonia, NC) ; and (6) great grandchildren; aunt Ruth Caldwell (Tampa, Fla); brother-in-law, Cornell Thomas and sister-in-law Tracie Thomas (Gastonia, NC) and brother-in-law Nathaniel Thomas (Gastonia, NC) and sister-in-law Gwendolyn Walters (Washington, DC) and sister-in-law Darnell Rogers (Washington, DC); a devoted friend: Dale Johnson (Washington, DC); and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private memorial service will be held.
