We send condolences to Mrs. Joyce and the Bailey family. We met Maurice through and by my mom's bestfriend (the late Mrs. Frances Harrison King). We shared many diners and laughs at the home of Sam" Stumpy" & Frances. Maurice was a very nice gentleman with style and grace. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.(daughters of the late Mrs. Bertha Davis) Audrey & Lurma

My deepest sympathy to the family of Marvin Maurice Reese Bailey. Reese was a very confident and well groomed young man.He dressed well, and he wore big 's and he could turn heads. He had a beautiful smile and he walked with pep in his step. Always cordial when ever I saw him . I said to him it's good to see you, his reply was always ,It's good to be seen! I saw his prayer on Facebook that he submitted on October 28th . Wow how touching ! He asked God to forgive him and all of us for sins that we committed against one another. He wasn't selfish in his prayer. He asked God to heal the land, and heal people of different sickness and diseases. I believe that Reese was making preparations and getting it right! He ended his prayer by acknowledging God as the author and finisher of all of our faith. He said that tears was running down from his face. Class of 1980 South Florence High and alumni , we that are left here have to get it right. . I believe that Reese got it right. Submitted by Lisa D. Mckithen
