To the Greenaugh Family and his many friends, I want to express my deepest condolences for the loss of a truly wonderful person, citizen, and Veteran Soldier. I first met Charles "Big Daddy" more than 29 years ago while I was stationed at Fort Gordon. He quickly became a friend and we shared conversations about many subjects, including the Army and plans for my transition back to civilian life. His input was always enlightening and would always cause me to think a little deeper. He was truly an inspiring personality. I remember he would jokingly talk about the population of China (which was huge) and dream about how many of them would need insurance. I not only thought this was funny but it highlighted the spirit of a dedicated salesman. I also knew him through my association with Jazz Unlimited as we both enjoyed good music. I urge the Family and all his loved ones to stay strong and rest assured "Goodness and Mercy" will follow him in Eternity. God Bless. Carl L. Gordon (Former Captain) - Toney, Alabama
