Funeral services for Mr. Richard Lee Manuel Jr., 70, of 180 Goat Road Fairfax, South Carolina will be private due to the COVID-19 precautions regarding social distancing.

Mr. Richard Lee Manuel Jr. was born in Allendale County, South Carolina on January 31, 1950 to the late Richard Manuel Sr. and Effie Bell Bostick Manuel. He was educated in the public schools of Allendale County. Richard enjoyed fishing and playing with his great-grandchildren. He was employed at Queen Carpet in Allendale, South Carolina for many years and later Dixie Narco in Williston, South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers: Benjamin Manuel, Marion Manuel, and Curtis Manuel; and one sister: Debra Jean Manuel.

Richard leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife of 49 years, Doris Manuel of the home; four sons: Richard Manuel III of Allendale, SC, Tyrone Nigel Manuel and Deangelo R. (Natasha) Manuel both of Fairfax, SC and Danny Buxton of North Carolina; one sister, Christine Washington of Fairfax, SC; one brother, Carnell (Rochelle) Manuel of Fairfax, SC; two aunts, two uncles; seven sisters-in-law; four brothers-n-law; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends.
