Obituary For Frank Valdez, Jr.

A Private Garden Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Frank Valdez Jr. on Saturday, November 21, 2020 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Dr. G.B. Robinson, officiating.

Frank Valdez Jr. was born in Pecos Texas to two loving parents, Frank Valdez Sr. and Vellena Whittaker-Valdez. Frank was the second of nine children. He attended public schools in Hillsborough County and graduated from the old Howard W. Blake High School. Frank was employed at Tampa Theater in his early life as a custodian. He enjoyed watching sports, playing spades, and dominoes. Frank was also good at cleaning and shining cars to a spotless shine.

As life went on Frank’s health declined through the years and his residence was moved from Tampa to Clearwater, FL., at the Highland Pines Nursing Facility where he resided for over 13 years until he transitioned home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2020.

Those that preceded him in death were his parents, Frank and Vellena Valdez Sr.; Grandmother, Elizabeth Garrison; one Sister, Frankye Valdez Jaudon, and niece, Selena Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories 1 daughter Chandra Valdez; 3 grandchildren, Christian Valdez, Chamira Valdez and Chantell Valdez 7 siblings; Tony Valdez Sr. (Sandra), Raymond Valdez Sr., Cinderella Valdez-Cuyler, Alphonso Valdez Sr, Valerie Valdez, Lorraine Valdez-Williams, Loretta Valdez-Robinson (Rev. Dr. Greg Robinson.); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other sorrowing family and friends.
