Obituary For Florita Biggerstaff

Florita “Flo” Florence Biggerstaff, 98 of Bowie, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 6th, 2020. Graveside services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8th, at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, with Dr. Tony Rogers officiating. Flo was born March 21, 1922 in Montague County, to E.H. and Laroh (Morris) Prater. In 1940 Flo married EK Biggerstaff, she was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Bowie. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband EK Biggerstaff, son Larry Biggerstaff, two sisters, one brother, and a granddaughter. Flo is survived by her son Jerry Biggerstaff and wife Marilynn of Chico, TX; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister Bernice Newberry of Bowie; daughter-in-law Carolynn Biggerstaff of Chico, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Flo to Southside Baptist Church at 311 W. Wilbarger St. Bowie, TX 76230. Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX.
