Obituary For Mary Kirk

Mary Ruth Kirk, 93 of Bowie, passed away on November 8th, 2020 in Wichita Falls, TX. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX. Mary was born September 15, 1927 in Concord, TX. She moved to Dallas, TX after high school, and was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone for the next 20 years. Mary met her husband W.C. Kirk in 1947. The couple married on May 5, 1949 in Dallas County. Their only son Cal Kirk was born in December 1964. In the spring of 1975, Mary and her family moved to Bowie, TX. She spent the remainder of her adult life as a devoted wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her husband W.C. Kirk, parents Osie and Calvin Woodall; brothers Weldon, Hurschel and Clyde Woodall; and sister Eloise Burton. Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Cal and Judy Kirk of Wichita Falls; her brother and sister-in-law Harold and Mary Lou Woodall of Concord, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, at 4909 Johnson Rd. Wichita Falls, TX 76310.
