Mrs. Jessie Alston, age 88, of 1024 Swift Creek Road, Raleigh, NC formerly of Warren County, NC departed this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services. The Reverend William Baker will officiate and the burial will follow in the Macedonia Good Shepard Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two children, Lucy Goode of Raleigh, North Carolina and William Alston of Warrenton, North Carolina, seven grandchildren, Metissa “Snookey” Davis (Corteius), Williams “Buck” Goode, John “JohnBoy” Goode (Brandy), Jesse David Alston, Free Johnson, and Robin L. Smith (Shahn); fourteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Marshall Johnson of Warrenton, North Carolina, and Charlie Johnson of Warrenton, North Carolina; one sister, Lou Ella Teague of Warrenton, North Carolina; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

Mrs. Alston may be viewed on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services.
