Obituary For Jan Williford

Mr. Jan Williford was born in Glascock County to the parentage of Otis and Helen Williford. He made his transition from labor to reward on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at an Augusta Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 21, 1:00 P.M. at Freedom Fellowship Church, 4276 U.S. Highway 221 S. Bartow, Georgia with mask and social distancing. Viewing will be held Friday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA. Jan is preceded in death by his father and one brother, Randy Williford. Mr. Williford was a native of Glascock County and attended Freedom Fellowship Church. Jan was employed at Thermo King Corp for over 24 years, Mullin’s Lab for seven years and Lab Corp for five years. He lived the life of a Christian he was very loving and kind hearted. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Linda Johnson Williford, Augusta, GA; his mother, Helen Williford, Gibson, GA; his children, Melissa Smith, Augusta, GA, Stephanie (Jermaine) Quick, Bloomingdale, Heather Cobert, Charleston, S.C., Hope (Ben) Hadden, Gibson, GA, Christopher (Brandy) Williford, Mitchell, GA, Shelly Deason, Waynesboro, GA; one brother, Tony (Beth) Williford, Wrens, GA; several grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
