Guest Book

When I was younger, me, her, and Brayden would always (after school) hangout with each other, as we lived one unit down in our apartment building (when she lived in Alexandria). We would hangout, until my mom would message Beverly that I had to go home. I will always miss her, and I never knew about this.. -Nik Pirouz <3

Dear Beverly, I will always treasure our time together (you, me, Ronnie, and Kitty)--in South Africa and West Africa. Both trips were blessed by your warmth, sense of humor, and overall loveliness. The people we met in Africa adored you! We all did. Although today I am sad, I believe with all my heart that your radiance will continue to be a blessing for us all. My thoughts and prayers are with and your loving family.

My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the peace that you seek. May my condolences bring you comfort and may my prayers ease the pain of this loss. I offer you my thoughts, prayers and well-wishes. Marion Carter

Words cannot express the feelings I have at this moment. I would never question God, but this reminds me to live everyday like it's the last. Bev, as I called her and my closest cousin, will be forever missed. For now I will remember the good times with Grandma Lula and other family members, as well as her SMILE that could light up a room, and will continue to Light up my Heart. Love You Always. Beverly's beauty and gentle spirit radiated throughout her life. For my best friend Kitty she was her heart soul and purpose. How can a Mother cope with such a loss? I pray for God's grace and strength for her and the family. I offer my hand, and love, and memories of times I watched you together and marveled at how much you adored her. I could see her light in your eyes and hers in yours. I told you over the years that you were my role model of a great mother. I am so sorry , and wish there were words to convey my heartfelt sympathy, but know you and family will ever be in our embrace. Love Carol, George, Tracy , Dee, & Jordan

Dear Kendra, Kennedy, Kitty and Mother Lula, I am deeply saddened to hear of Beverly's passing and can only imagine the profound grief you are experiencing. Over the years of visiting my sister Vera, Beverly's neighbor and friend, my relationship with Bev flourished into a sisterhood, I loved her wonderful, lighthearted and joyful spirit. I pray that in time you will find comfort in the memories of the love you shared, the treasures she created- her children and grandchildren , and the joy she brought to those who were fortunate enough to have been her student, coworker and/or friend. With sympathy and compassion, Rose Strickland

Ms. Beverly Phillips- always had this amazing smile and gave the best real hugs. She wrapped her arms and heart around every child that entered her classroom at WCES. My daughter was one of thousands of children who had the honor of having Ms. Phillips as a teacher and I thank God every day for the love, support and care she gave to our family. She was definitely a beautiful woman inside and out who had the most giving and nurturing soul. God Bless you Ms. Phillips and thank you for the wonderful and forever lasting memories.
