Condolences to Barbara and the rest of the Allen family. I met Larry when he would come over to visit his Aunt(Ms.Heywood) the kindergarden teacher who lived next door in Weeks Armstrong Housing Projects. Larry was always sharing and compassionate with his cookies that he got from his Dad's store. I. Sharpe

"Shotgun" as we called him back in Junior High School was a brother beloved and lifelong friend who had a heart for and loved people. I can just hear him calling my nickname and asking how I had been doing each time we were brought together. That's who he was. He never complained even when I knew he had some health challenges when I wanted to know how he was doing. RIP my brother and my friend and pass the ball up in heaven to Jungle Jim, and maybe he will make a shot this time. My prayers go out to Larry's family and friends as we celebrate his life. Rev. Reginald M. Morton
