Julius Bernard “Bee” Wilson was born on Wednesday, April 6, 1949, in Talladega, Alabama to Silas Wilson and Juliette Lawler Wilson.
Mr. Wilson dedicated his life to Christ and worshipped at Peace Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an usher and sang with the male chorus. Julius was a graduate of Westside High School. He dedicated many years of service to Crown Textiles and EBSCO Industries. In his spare time, Bee was a member of Elks Lodge #1171, enjoyed football, basketball, baseball, golfing and was a diehard Auburn Tigers fan. He had a love for life and truly enjoyed it to the fullest. Bee loved to dress and he was not “sharp” until he had on one of his Kangol hats to top off his outfit.
Julius traded time for eternity on the evening of Friday, November 20, 2020, at Citizens Baptist Medical Center. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Silas and Juliette Wilson; a sister, Nellie Jean Hayes; and a grandson, Joey Wilson.
Julius is survived by his four daughters, Felicia Wilson and Shalanda (Chris) Roberson of Talladega, Alabama, Carol McGhee of Sylacauga, Alabama and Shaneeka Phillips of Sterrett, Alabama; two sons, Datrick (Angela) Morris of Talladega, Alabama and Courtney Fain of Duluth, Georgia; eighteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two brothers, James (Juanita) Wilson of Talladega, Alabama and Silas (Charlotte) Wilson, Jr. of Decatur, Alabama; one brother-in-law, Clifford Hayes of Cleveland, Ohio; two special nieces, Sandy (Greg) Wilson and Nalida (Kevin) Hunt; a special friend, Cheryl Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
