James Earl Cofield III 37, of Grantsboro, died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center.

Viewing hours are 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Oscar's Mortuary.

His service is 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 28, 2020 on Oscar's Memorial Grounds 1700 Oscar Drive, New Bern. The service may be viewed on Oscar's Mortuary Facebook Page.

He is survived by his mother, Gertrude Laverne Cofield, of Grantsboro; father, James Earl Cofield Jr. Baltimore, MD; brothers, Derek Cofield, Xavier Best, Dexter Cofield, Brandon Cofield; sisters, Lakeshia Collins Pearsall, Destini Jones, Janel Cofield and Sidney Henderson; maternal grandmother, Doris Saunders Collins and paternal grandmother, Mary Brooks.

Masks are required. Chairs are limited, please bring a chair.
