Obituary For Evelyn Jean Williams

A Garden Memorial Graveside Service will be held for Ms. Evelyn Jean Williams on Saturday, November 28, 2020 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610 with Minister Steve Guyton, officiating.

Evelyn Jean Williams was born in Tampa, Florida to the late Elmore Williams and Mae Bell Lundy Williams on November 15, 1955. She was educated in Hillsborough County public schools. She spent much of her career in hospitality as a housekeeper. Evelyn known to many as Dede was a caring and loving person that would do and say anything to make you happy. She loved her family with all her heart. On November 19, 2020 she answered the call of eternal life.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Morris Williams and JW McTyre Sr. and nephew JW McTyre Jr.

She leave to cherish her fondest memories: two sisters, Emma Hill and Carrie Cecil and husband Zemmery all of Tampa; a sister-in-law, Queen McTyre of Tampa; nieces, Tanna Peeler, Fredrica Stanley, Santana McTyre, Deltecia Williams and LaKeetha Stallworth; nephew, Antonio Cecil and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 6-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33605.

CDC guidelines will be strictly followed and mask will be required for entrance.

Evelyn we were just talking on the phone just before you passed away. I will never forget the good times we shared as neighbors and friends. To the family, just know that Evelyn will surely be missed and I will carry the love that she shared with many whom she came in the company of. Rest on my dear friend, rest on.
