Betty Ross, I would always call her my Betty Boo, she was a dear friend to me and we always stayed in contact with each other years after we worked together at JPS transportation. Whenever we spoke, we laughed a while.Get your rest my dear friend and know you will always hold a special place in my heart. YOUR FRIEND, Vickie Shirley-Young.

Betty, Betty, Betty! I am sadden to hear of the Homegoing of Betty Ross. Betty was a special person that was near and dear to my heart. I cant help but reflect upon the days at Transportation South (JPS). A true " she-ro" and sweet lady, Betty was a good friend who could lift a bowed down head just by talking to her. I pray that she is at peace and I will never forget her. From her former ( supervisor) and good friend Leonard Swilley Sr. ( Lewisville, Texas )

My momma. I can write so much about you beautiful lady. I wish I could have told you how much I love you more and more. I am so grateful to have been giving the opportunity to have you in my life. I was 19 years old and still had no understanding of being an adult. You welcomed me in with so much comfort, stability, laughter and sass. I will forever know you as my momma. You were there when I felt like no one was there for me. I appreciate your spirit, your wisdom you shared, and your warming energy you gave me. Love you infinity, Rochelle
