Father Emmanuel Awe will be officiating the funeral mass.
Mrs. Carrier leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Joseph “JoJo” Carriere of Church Point, LA; six daughters, Samantha Moore (James), Rachel Carriere (Kermit), Amelia Carriere (Chris), Betty Carriere, Jamie Carriere and Nola Riel Gibson, all of Church Point, LA; her significant other, Chana “Heavy” Gibson of Church Point, LA; four sisters, Betty Guidry (Joe) of Rayne, LA, Eva Cole, Belinda Moore and Barbara Rogers, all of Lake Charles, LA; twenty-one grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; four Godchildren, Charles Savoy, Thera Guidry, Aceson Wiley and Chana Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph “Butch” Carriere; her parents, Joseph and Amelia Moore; one brother, Ernest Moore; one sister, Terry Dean Savoy; one granddaughter, Swan-Drieka Gray; and the parents of her significant other, Mary and Charles Gibson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church.
