Willie Lee Parks

Mr. Willie Lee Parks was born in Greene County, Georgia on November 3, 1938 to the late Willie James Parks and the late Florene Winbush Parks. He departed tis life on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at his place of residence.

Willie was a fun-loving person who offered his help and service to anyone in need. He will surely be missed in the community and by those who were classified as his friends.

Willie was preceded in death by one son Horace Parks, four siblings: Rufus Parks, Julia Mae Stembridge, Thelma Parks and Johnny Parks; one nephew Larry Stembridge and one niece Betty Parks.

He leaves to cherish his memory one brother: Mr. Melvin (Wilmatine) Parks of Greensboro, Ga; two sisters: Josephine and Mary Dean Parks both of Greensboro, Ga; two daughters: Dorothy Lee Shaffer of Decatur, Ga and Tylisha Collins of Athens, Ga.; three grandkids: Quentin Donnell Shaffer and Marquita Shanice Shaffer both of Decatur, Ga and Taniyah Mayweather of Athens, Ga.; two great grandkids: Quentavius Shaffer and Quentez Shaffer both of Decatur, Ga.; four nieces: Barbara Stembridge of Greensboro, Ga.; Brenda Malcom of Greensboro, Ga., Brylasha Parks and Bakya Parks of Greensboro, Ga.; one nephew: Corey Parks of Greensboro, Ga.; two great nieces: Natasha Stembridge and Taneisha Wright both of Greensboro, Ga.; one great nephew Thomas Griffin of Greensboro, Ga.; two great-great nephew: Javar Lawrence of Stone Mountain, Ga and Jadariius Lawrence of Greensboro, Ga.; three great-great nieces: Ry’Yannah Parrish, Ladashia Lawrence and Taylor Johnson all of Greensboro, Ga.; a very special friend Mr. Calvin Gresham all with a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
