Homer Lynn Prestwood, 80 of Bowie, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 27th, 2020.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1st, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Stoneburg, TX, with Pastor Doyle Wade officiating.

Homer was born February 11, 1940 in Montague County to JW and Lizzie Belle (Gordon) Prestwood. Homer started HL Prestwood Backhoe in 1959, and worked until his retirement, about 6 years ago. He enjoyed trips to the casino and going out to dinner. Homer was a simple man, and truly loved his family dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers JB Prestwood and Bob Prestwood; sister Billie Coleman; and grandchildren Amanda Bell and Jason Bell.

Homer is survived by his daughters Robin Bell and Traci Prestwood; son Jon Prestwood, all of Bowie; and grandchildren Caiden Fenoglio and Morgan Fenoglio.
