Wow, where do I start?! I was introduced to Myron (Bubba) Johnson through Barbara Cochran back in 2007. I asked to borrow a cup of paint for my office. Of course Myron laughed at me and finally days later, I wore him down. Throughout the years, Myron made several long trips to my home and even though he said that he had a fear of height, he'd not only paint our two-story outside but also intricately place his ladders to paint the inside. We'd hold countless conversations about our families and crooked politicians. I remember how proud he was to tell me that he's met a good woman named Liz and would be getting married. He also told me that he was moving further away to Hampton but he'd still come over when needed. I sent Myron several texts and pictures for an appraisal. When I didn't hear back from him, I kept calling his cellphone. I then contacted Barbara to see if she'd heard from our friend. It was a few minutes later that I found out that he had passed. When I tell you that I've never met such a dedicated and gentle man, believe me. So trusting and kind to my grandson, Devin. Myron would talk with him as he worked. We all love this man! May The Great Creator continue to bless and watch over this family. Myron is just fine. Talibah Modupe

November 28th was the last time we spoke. Remembering how we talked about politics. He spoke so strongly about Trump, Rudy Giuliani and Stacey Abrams! We laughed and he definitely got his point across without missing a beat. I'll miss your Spirit, your Strength and your Love! Rest in Peace! Aways in my Heart, Cousin Shirley

I am glad to have shared time with myron (Bubba) Johnson. The years we had shared was wisdom, turthful and very blunt. You was my first love even though we parted I have always had a space in my heart for you and your family. May you R.I.H Gail (Sanders) Graham.

When visiting Myron and Liz in their home, they both always made me feel at home! He always had the pool ready for me and Liz when I would come for my birthday in July! I am still in disbelief,Myron was a genuine type of guy and my daughter Sheronda said he was a great online Chess player! We love you Myron and you will be missed. I thank God the last conversation he and I had on the 8th of November, I told him that I loved him, and he responded "love you too"! Liz was blessed to have Myron in her life - if only for a short time.

Bubba was the best big brother in the world. I'll always live by his words of wisdom. The last thing he told me to do was get on the road early and stay on 75. As always I did what he said and arrived in Jacksonville safely. I know he was at peace with the situation and therefore we are at peace. Liz you are my forever sister!

My heart is so very heavy as I think about our last conversation on Saturday, the 28th. Just last year you were in Jacksonville looking after one of your sisters and Moma as you have always done. You were the best big brother a sister could ever hope for. Same room for me , as we will see each other again. Don't you worry about your beautiful wife, she is in good hands . We love her and always will. Your sister, Juanita
