To know him is to simply love him... Lebert was a man a statue and grace his smile was so warm and truly heartfelt. He always made you feel welcome and he would help you in anyway that he could. If we had more Lebert's in the world, the world would be a much better place! He will truly be missed. Love always, Geogia L. Wiggins

TO Sherry and Family, I will miss Lebert for his kindness that he has always shown. I am thankful that Lee, Geraldine and I got the chance to come to Atlanta to visit with you and Sherry and we felt so at home. I looked so forward for those trips, just to get away from it all. Those visits will remain in my heart and memories forever. Love, Estell and Family

Aunt Sherry, we send our deepest and heartfelt condolences to you and Uncle Lebert. The ceremony was extremely beautiful and heartfelt. It was amazing to see how many people lives and hearts you both touch over the years. Uncle Lebert will be truly missed.

To Sherry and Aunt Agatha, may the God of comfort guard you and keep you. I remember Lebert helping me to lose weight. When I graduated from high school in 1985, I was scheduled to go into the Marine Corp. I had played football and could do the exercises required, but no one told me about the weight requirement. When I went into MEPS to be sent to boot camp I failed the weight in. Lebert heard about it, came and got me and took me home with him (Riverside, CA). Lebert got me into running/jogging, and eating properly. Funny enough I went off to boot camp on he and my mother's birthday, November 20th.

Sherry and family, what started out as next door neighbors over thirty years ago, turned into friends for life. I have good memories of those days. I still remember his voice as calm and easy going. Your whole family are truly genuine, kind and loving people. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see Lee one more time in Georgia. Heaven gained another Angel! Prayers for Lee and the family. Even though he will not be physically present we will continue to thank God for Lebert. Being calm, wise and humorous came naturally to my beloved brother. His wonderful and positive spirit blessed us...you never ever heard him complain despite the health challenges he faced. He entrusted his life to God and his faith was a powerful testimony. He was smart and loving...it was always a pleasure to be in his company and to chat with him. He was the greatest cook! I will cherish the times we spent together where I got to know my big brother better and his family, Sherry, Raquel, Tanya and Lee. Thank you beloved brother for the legacy of love, thoughtfulness, positivity and faith you left us. A closed chapter here, but now in the presence of God and your glorious eternal life! Thank you Sherry for taking such good care of Lebert and for encouraging him. We are sad we couldn't be there to support you and are amazed and thankful for your strength...we pray that you will be comforted, strengthened and encouraged in the days ahead. Deepest condolences and loving thoughts: Carlos and Corine Fuller

To hear his voice saying " I love you sis " Will stay with me forever. I am praying for Sherry , my nieces and Lee and their families for GOD to straighten and comfort you. Lloyd and I our children and mom send our condolences. We love you guys. Will miss you brother. Nancy Stanford.

Our deepest, and sincerest condolences to my Cousin Sherry and the entire Robinson family. Lebert was such an awesome man. He was always smiling as we would have conversations at their home over dinner or simply sitting around. Lebert and Sherry were a power couple, always showing the true meaning of LOVE, FRIENDSHIP and RESPECT for one another. Hold your head up high Sherry, knowing that you were an amazing wife to such a wonderful, kind hearted husband. A love lost that can never be replaced. My brother was one of the most loving person I know, I will miss our calls, our long conversations about when he was young and at home, about our Dad. His always cheerful voice and grateful thankful heart. He made it his joy to know his nieces and nephews and loved them dearly. There was never a conversation that he did not asked how they are and express his love for them. Rest on my brother along with Dad, Mavis & Sylvia. God needed another angel.

- na

The greatest role model ever. I'm so grateful to have been able to watch a man walk through life style and grace and always knowing he has nothing to prove to no one but himself. l will miss his compassion and his impact he had on other such as myself. Otis Taylor

- na

Lebert was my brother in-law but I thought of him as my brother. Lebert was one of the most positive people I knew, he was the type of person who could find something positive from any negative situation. Whenever I spoke with Lebert, we would talk about sports, politics, military or life experiences, no matter the subject I would often realize he was providing knowledge. I'm going to miss our conversations but will always have the knowledge he shared with me. Farewell brother.

Sherry & Family, Thank you for sharing your husband with us. This is hard for me & I know that it's even harder for you having been together almost 50 years. Our early military years together at Ft. Jackson, SC was very memorable. I enjoyed spending time at your house with you all & the children. I'm glad I did get times to talk with you & Lebert. I miss his FB postings of the grands. I pray that you will be encouraged by all the comments said about you & Lebert. Continue to stay rooted & anchored in the Lord. I know personally that the Lord will see you through this time & days to come. I will try to stay more in contact with you. There's nothing that my God can't do. Lean totally on the Lord. Your tears are healing so allow them to flow. Love you, Corliss Parson

I remember when I first met Lee. It was at a group home for abused, abandoned, and delinquent boys. He was like a breath of fresh air to our treatment team. He was the muscle. Nobody messed with him or wanted to act-out when he was on duty. He was a gentleman. He always had a kind word. He was a team player. No task was too difficult for him. He was smart. He could get a wayward kid to cooperate without "the laying on of hands". He was an excellent cook. There was nothing at the table but forks clanking and lip smacking when it was his turn to cook. He generous. He used to smoke a turkey for me on Thanksgiving and did the same for a few other people as well. He also shared his recipe for banana pudding (from scratch) with me. (Delicious). He adopted my mom's puppy, who was about to get her into trouble with her landlord and gave it a loving home. He was fun to be around and I am proud to have had him as my friend. He was such an accomplished man. I have never met anyone like Lee. There were four of us in the group who had birthdays in November; Nola, Suzie, Lee and me. We would go out to lunch after manager meetings. There was always lots of laughter. During one of those lunches there was an argument over who got to pay for Lee's lunch. That is just a testament at how generous he was. We all loved him. I was so sad when he left California. He kept in touch, keeping me apprised of what he was doing, how his family was growing. We texted each other for birthdays and holidays. We talked about the four of us getting together when he visited California, or me coming to see him when I finally got to visit Atlanta. I've been missing my friend for quite a while now. I knew about his health challenges, but he was such a vibrant man, I didn't think he would be leaving us this soon. Family, my heart is broken with yours.

When tears flow down your face may they stop in a smile of unforgettable & life memories shared together that can never be taken away.
